I ran for the CalPERS Board because I wanted to protect the defined benefit program that allows our members to retire with security and dignity. Like you, as a CalPERS member, my pension security allows me to plan for the future.

 

My mother was a member of the Communications Workers of America, and I saw firsthand how her pension allowed her to retire with the financial security she deserved after decades of hard work. That is what I'm fighting to protect.

 

As a member of the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union, I serve as a fiduciary in order to maximize returns for our members.

 

I want to serve CalPERS members by protecting their hard-earned money, investments, and health care. My own experience will allow me to succeed as your representative on the CalPERS Board of Administration.
